一张现场的专辑，听听那些小姑娘们整齐划一唱着自己偶像的歌还是不错的。看推荐说这是支hardcore的乐队，实际上既不hard也不core。两个理由：1.据说他们创作灵感来自greenday 2.你见过哪支hardcore唱歌用假音的？还有大量的转音。哈哈。好听倒是真的，硬要给个类别，那就是pop rock了，他们的歌曲非常非常“通俗易懂”。《suger we are going down》是老早就听过的。绝对属于越听越耐听的歌曲。《Our Lawyer Made Us Change the Name of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued》这个是我见过最要命的歌名。看看歌词，有评价说这是“a play on Ruffin’s egomania and general narcissism”，这都要拜pete wentz（David Ruffin ）这个独行到极致却才华横溢的家伙所赐。专辑中翻唱mj的《beat it》就是才华很好的证明。结尾处那最难处理的“beat it”（就两个单词，要唱好几个小节，能不难唱么？）唱得不仅神似mj，甚至还有突破啊。《thanks for the mmrs》是我寻找这张专辑的动力。fall out boy的能力似乎就是歌曲高潮部分都十分精彩。如《golden》。精彩不同于好听，对于这张专辑，我更觉得精彩等同“复杂度”，这些歌高潮部分的“复杂度”都很够，不会给人草草收场的感觉。而重复两遍之后往往还有第三段，是他们流行风格的印记。
最喜欢的：《the take Over, the Breaks Over》能把“寡妇”（Widow）一词唱得这么“荡气回肠”的也就是此家别无分店了，歌名也符合我现在的生活状态。
PS:这些天在欣赏Terasbetoni的歌曲，大为感概：北欧之外，没有金属音乐。

能写出《perfect》《untitle》这样伟大歌曲的乐队绝对不可能让人失望。《when i'm gone》为这张专辑定下了基调：simple plan需要更多流行元素的加入，同样例如《your love is a lie》。但《grow up》《jump》这样的纯粹的punk不会被抛弃：《running out of time》和《what if》就是代表。说真的，punk这个主题现在比较难混。创作此类歌曲的门槛实在太低。有资源枯竭的趋势。乐队也基本上是千篇一律：清澈嗓音的主唱和能量产两段式punk来用数量产生质量的创作人。这种情况下，可以生存的只有两种：拥有特色的和坚持传统的。林肯的新专辑指向punk获得好评是因为他们非常有特色：百里挑一的键盘和说唱。他们可以赢在这些方面。sum41的硬派式几乎有点脱离punk本身的方式也可以成为成功的要素。simple plan的主唱声音没有什么特色，人员也属于“标准配置”。他们的方式就剩下坚持传统了。实际上他们做得非常棒。punk说到底就是青春期躁动。simple plan坚持以简洁纯粹的方式来探讨慌乱的人生和对未来的迷惘。永远都是你能想到最简单的音符组合。进一步巩固他们在“校园－－－青春－－－爱情”这个主题线的地位。而且这样本色的作品更能吸引新的朋友来一起分享他们的音乐。这张专辑很多流行因素的加入也是simple plan做的一些尝试，同样也可能是对自己实力的证明。不管怎么样，非常棒的专辑。

最近喜欢反复听一首歌，《青花瓷》已经有点像BG了。这首whispers in the dark开始接班。乐队名很有意思，平底锅！whispers in the dark来自专辑Comatose。非常硬朗，基础扎实，耐搓！
